Menswear Brand Oxwhite Explodes Into Online Marketplace
Their first order of 3,000 shirts sold out in just 6 hours
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, July 18, 2018 /GlobalPRNews/ -- Their extensive social media campaign over the last months came to a head on Saturday when they launched their first product, the Oxwhite Classic shirt, to an overwhelming response.
Their first pre-order of shirts, a limited run of only 3,000 pieces, was completely sold out within 6 hours of the midday launch. Since then they have announced and filled a second pre-order, and moved onto a third with the latest delivery dates set for mid November. Their brand utilizes a market upsetting, pre-order, direct-to-consumer business model that allows them to sell its products without any significant retail markup, at a meagre RM69 per shirt.
With a conscious step forward into the future this pre-order model also allows Oxwhite to operate with as little environmental impact as possible; with a lack of floating stock, retail outlets or approximations of sizing when making their orders, it is easy for them to operate with zero wastage.
Their products are crafted from 100% American produced cotton under partnership with an undisclosed factory in Indonesia said to be one of the major manufacturing centers for many other major high-end menswear brands.
Oxwhite’s catalogue is currently limited to the Tailored Asian Slim Fit Oxwhite Classic shirt but they have more size, collar and cut variations and other products set for release in the near future; although at this stage they remain under wraps.
